About

Netjes Bags are handmade with reclaimed fabrics – factory rejects, second-hand finds, and unused treasures from loved ones’ fabric stashes. Mostly cotton, but as reclaimed fabrics often don’t come with a tag, some may be a cotton blend. Each fabric is 'one of a kind' and so our collections are all a limited run.

They reclaim and repurpose underused textiles that may have found their way to the landfill, as well as help to reduce plastic waste created by small single-use bags. Great for grocery shopping, keeping your everyday bag organized, bringing lunch to work, travel packing, and wrapping gifts.

Each bag is handmade in Vancouver's Kitsilano neighbourhood, on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples. Imperfections are often inherent in used fabrics, and certainly in my sewing.

Natural cotton drawstrings. Polyester thread for durability. Machine washable + dryable.

For the joy of using simple, beautiful things in day-to-day life.
